With a half of beef customers will receive a generous assortment of premium Angus beef to stock your freezer and elevate your meals. With this bundle, you'll receive approximately 180-220 pounds of locally sourced beef, carefully butchered and portioned to meet your needs. From tender steaks and succulent roasts to flavorful ground beef and versatile stew meat, each package offers a diverse array of cuts to inspire your culinary creations. Whether you're hosting a backyard barbecue or preparing cozy family dinners, a half of beef ensures that you'll always have high-quality beef on hand to satisfy your cravings and nourish your loved ones. Say goodbye to last-minute grocery runs and hello to the convenience of having a freezer stocked with delicious, locally sourced beef from Woodard Cattle Company.

With a half beef, you can typically expect to receive approximately 180-220 pounds of beef, depending on the specific cuts and processing preferences. This may include a variety of cuts such as: 

  • 45-50% Premium Ground Beef - Approximately 90-100lbs of Ground Beef - 90/10 blend - in convenient 1lb packages.  You also have the option to get as many pounds pattied as you would like. 
  • 25-30% Savory Cuts- Approximately 45-50lbs of the following: Chuck Roast, Rump Roast, Arm Roast, Stew Meat (in convenient 1 lb packages), Cube Steaks, Brisket.
  • 25% Homegrown Steaks - Approximately 45-50lbs of the following: 2-4 Filet Mignon, 4-6 Ribeye Steaks, 4-6 Top Sirloin Steaks along with the optional Flank Steak, Flat Iron, and Skirt Steak. 

Keep in mind that the exact quantities and types of cuts may vary depending on factors such as the size of the animal, butcher preferences, and any customization options requested by the customer.

Final Steps: Once your butcher date arrives, Grady takes special care in handpicking the healthiest, most well-nourished calf from our herd. Then we will take that calf off with our partners at Stroots Meat Locker to be processed. Once your calf has been dropped off, we will contact you to make the final payment if that has not been done. Grady or Stacy will then contact you to arrange pickup.  

LOCAL CUSTOMERS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR PICKUP AND PROCESSING FEES AT THE LOCKER.  Price is subject to changed based on weight of calf.
